My children and I cook together. It is no longer an occasional event in the past to something more consistent and organized. It has been a sarma recept kulinarika lifeline for us all after the coronavirus outbreak that afflicted us all just a few weeks in the past.
My parents were not at all interested in cooking, however my younger siblings were awed by steak au poivre. This would become their go-to dish. They would go into the kitchen when the sauce was about to ignite and then marvel at the flames from an uninvolved distance. They’d also clap their hands at the sound of the smoke alarms.
I started inviting them to cook with me from time to times. You can ask them to assist you in cooking by peeling and cooking vegetables or flipping pancakes.
As a creature of social media, I would also often post photos and videos of my creations — including the obligatory slo-mo flambe — which eventually gave me the idea to combine the activities and give birth to “Daddy and Holly and Liam’s Cooking Show,” a friends-and-family-only Facebook endeavor that we’d put out once every month or two. This format gave structure to seemingly unrelated lessons and made it more fun for the children to learn to cook.
Food preparation has never been more important since the outbreak of coronavirus. Adults can see that people are constantly searching for something to do during moments of lockdown. For children, interruptions in their routines could be very stressful. Although Zoom classroom is an option, it is not sufficient.
Also, we have to think about the possibility of having the spread of a pandemic to the adult brain.
Cooking together is an escape route from coronavirus. It’s not as difficult to separate from one another like binge watching Netflix or Disney Plus. We talk about food , and I make numerous dad jokes. I can also startle my friends by making them believe I’m cutting my hair. It’s a great, clean and fun.
Cooking can be a wonderful method to impart coronavirus-related lessons. Handwashing is an essential part of the kitchen. We now make the sound of a loud buzzer whenever somebody touches our face. Then, we head to the sink to wash our face for 20 seconds of antiviral scrubs.
It’s not necessary to create every dish into an impressive display of culinary skill. Tonight, I’ll be making tacos from a mix (gasp! There are still some tips and tricks that I can apply to create tacos using a mix this evening.
I wish I could say that cooking for my children can reduce my workload. It takes them longer to finish tasks than mine, sometimes the results are less polished, and there is a lot of cleanup.
Spending time with your loved ones can be an asset in a world trying to prevent one by practicing social distancing.
